The 21st November 2022 saw the 10th annual Great British Entrepreneur Awards bringing together the UK's most exciting entrepreneurs, judges, mentors, and investors, in partnership with Starling Bank. 1,400 filled the cavernous hall at JW Marriott Grosvenor House London on Park Lane representing the whole of the UK in all its diversity.

What makes the GBEA so special is that it highlights and celebrates the hard work and dedication of UK business owners, focusing on their journey and ethos, rather than financial achievements. In previous years it has seen winners such as Social Chain founder Steven Bartlett (now the youngest ever investor on BBC’s Dragon’s Den) and their ever-growing network of alumni have gone on to collectively turn over £30 billion and employ around 450,000 people! Congratulations to Francesca James and her team for developing GBEA into so much more than an award but now the UKs premier entrepreneur community.
"Congratulations to all the finalists and to those who left with awards but for me the real winner was the UK where truly we lead the world in recognising that entrepreneurship will drive our world for the better. I was proud to see such a great turn out of Scottish entrepreneurs who invested in the journey to London to join us, it was heart-warming to see." - Russell Dalgleish, GBEA Judge for Scotland
