At Scottish Business Network we are continually looking for new ways to create international collaboration opportunities for Scottish companies.
So when our Ambassador Mustafa Asim suggested we hold an event in Glasgow to discuss opportunities in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and the broader Asia market I was delighted to support the idea.
Hosted at the Glasgow offices of MBN Solutions I was joined by representatives of the South Asian community based in Scotland.
Our discussion covered key sectors of Technology, Power Generation and Food&Drink as we investigated options for greater collaboration.
Some of the event was filmed and caught the attention of the press hence our debut on a leading Asian TV Network.
This extract is only two minutes long but if you watch to the end you will hear from Mustafa and Scottish Business Network's own Ne Lwin.
A number of actions were taken from the gathering which we will be following up on over the coming weeks.
Scottish Business Network is represented in India by our Ambassador Tom Thomas and we are looking to grow the team in the region.
